Welfare Services Club (RSP Mental Health)
Regular Service Project Mental Health (RSPMH) is the latest addition to WSC in 2017. They aim to create greater awareness of our service users and to destigmatize issues associated with mental health. MH Volunteers conduct weekly interactions such as handicraft making, games, and sports at the Institute of Mental Health to keep their service users mentally and physically active and organise festive celebrations for them. They also organise Mind Matters, a week-long event promoting the importance of mental wellbeing in NTU. Volunteers also take part in mental health workshops on topics such as volunteering skills, self-care, and careers in mental health—all sorts!— where mental health knowledge and skills are imparted to them.
Graduate Students' Association:
The NTU Graduate Students’ Association (NTUGSA) is the elected representative body of the graduate student community in NTU and is supported by the Students Affairs Office. The Association represents the interests of graduate students and raises their issues to the university administration with the purpose of seeking ways to resolve them, organizes orientation programmes for new graduate students, promotes the welfare of members within the University, tries to improve the graduate student life on campus by planning and organizing activities and events, which may not be limited to just social, recreational, sporting, cultural, educational, and career-related purposes and works to foster a strong and meaningful relationship between the graduate and the undergraduate student population, faculty, staff, and administrators.
